Evidence that the TC Lighting is Bad and Harden isn't Human

    During my break, I wanted to prove that the Toyota Center lighting is at fault for poor shooting. Oh, and I'm also running out of Rockets things to look at because of this awful schedule the NBA gave us.

    As you can see, Ryan Anderson is able to nail this full court shot with ease. You don't ever see him drilling shots like this at the Toyota Center.


    Here's another example. Dwight Howard was able to knock down this jumper in Dallas. Did he ever do that in Houston? Nah.



    Need more evidence? In 2014-15, Dwight Howard shot 0-1 from 3 in the Toyota Center but 1-1 on the road. That road game took place in Phoenix... remember the last time we played in Phoenix?! (Ryno shot 6-10 from 3 that game)

    James Harden is the only player to make a full court shot in the TC with video evidence.



    To be fair, Harden has shown signs of not being human, so that shot was not surprising.

    Craig Ackerman, if you're reading this, please relay this message to Daryl Morey: Change the Toyota Center's lighting to the Talking Stick Resort Arena's lighting.

    If this comment gets 50 likes, I’ll see if the color/shinyness of Calvin Murphy’s suit affects Ryan Anderson’s shot.

    So does the lighting affect our opponents? If they also shoot poorly then it's fair game.

    And here is Yao Ming's only made three-pointer in his career during his TC era. Close analysis of this video footage proves he did not make that shot at Toyota Center.



    He was 0-3 in Toyota Center from three.

    Yes, since it's inception in October 2003, every opponent shoots better in their own stadium than in TC.

    This spices things up. Maybe bigs can’t shoot in the TC because a directional light is right in their eyes that smaller players don’t see. Perhaps it’s time to see how D-Mo shot in the TC?

    If Ryno and co can get used to it since they play 41 games a year in there and also practice in here, then it's a huge advantage right?
