Westbrook, kyrie, giannis (cant shoot) Thats it really for me. Id call out some other players (griffin, wall, wiggins)but I dont think they get much media hype ablut being great
I guess I’ll be the first to say it. Anthony Davis He’s a really good player, great at times but severely severely overrated.
Youre not. @J.R. said it first on his list. I was just about to come say it as well. Dude can not get his team over the hump and that hump isnt all that big of a hump. Its the playoffs. Dude is too talented not to make it every year, even if its in the west.
I wonder why some of you mention Lonzo. Overhyped =|= overrated imo. Agree with Melo and Irving as many of you mentioned Edit: and giannis too, can't shoot = can't win imo.
There are plenty of overrated players and it's hard to pick just one. I think calling any young player overrated is prematrue. We should focus on those who are in or past their prime. To me, two of the most overrated players in this generation are Melo and Griffin. Anyway, "overrating" and "underrating" are so slippery. When a player is billed as "overrated" he almost automatically becomes underrated, and vice versa. And you have to qualify overrated by whom. Westbrook is definitely NOT overrated on Clutchfans. LOL.
I think overrated = get's a lot of undeserved praise and hype -> Westbrook and KAT are my top 2 frontrunners. And no, Westbrook definetely not overrated on CF tho^^
So, no one for "Most Overrated Player?" per OP. Don't "p***y foot" around. @BigMaloe's got Davis. Yeah, and only reason he made it once was because Durant got injured, and Mr ?Overrated? WB couldn't get OKC into the playoffs, but he sure gave us a tremendous look into the future of Trip Dubs with that post ASG run of his in 2015.
Agree with Westbrook and Kyrie. But Giannis, while he can't shoot, at least plays both sides of the court at a very high level and has a pretty good basketball IQ. Westbrook is just a dummy.

Yeah, but..... Its not like he had any help though.... I mean, if you give him Hardens help from last year like, Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson, he might be able to do some damage. Oh, he had them at one point....? Ill just hang up and listen then.
Giannis is great and all, im just not a big believer in him being some magical talent that is poised to run the east when lebron retires. Some people say they would start a franchise with him if they could draft anyone in the nba. Thats overrated IMO. He is more of a physical marvel than a baller to me. He is great dont get me wrong but unless he ever learns to shoot, he will always be a looks like tarzan plays like jane type of player to me
I actually think curry is properly rated lol. I value basketball skills and having game over just being a freakishly dominant physical specimen. Curry is pretty great as a player. Cant take that away from him IMO. I always hope he loses and hes def an arrogant bish though.
