Out of the three major leagues(NBA, NFL, MLB), does Houston have the most active elite level players? I'm trying to think of a city that is equivalent?

Harden, CP3, Watson, Watt, Hopkins, Altuve, Correa, Verlander and Springer.

Damn it's a great time to be a Houston sports fan.

Listen I really liked what I saw of Watson, but he didn't even play half of a season and you're already calling him a superstar?

He was the biggest thing in the NFL before he was injured. You had neutral journalists starting that he has the potential to be the next FACE of the league.

He was on pace to break all time rookie records. That with the combination of him playing the most high profile position(QB) in the NFL makes him a superstar or at the very least the name recognition of a superstar.

Gotta consider the whole National Championship & Heisman Trophy the year before too.

You just said it.....'he has the POTENTIAL"

Again I am VERY excited about this kid, but damn calling him a superstar when he hasn't even played a half of season seems a little premature IMO (but I get it).

I live outside the Houston market. Non Texan fans already treat him as such. He was extremely hyped right before his injury. Maybe it's unwarranted but that's the perception.

my buddy from Dallas actually texted me this the other day. Everyone outside of Houston knows about watt, Hopkins, Watson,Correa, harden, altuve and cp3. My buddy was like damn this Springer guy is better than I thought, houstons got it going on. We certainly have some big names.

If we had Watson during those 2 years where watt was an absolute gorilla then my goodness

Watson single handedly made Texans football unwatchable. You can't give me a taste of a legit star qb and then leave. Get well soon bro, you the real MVP

Yup. I don't even bother with Sundays anymore this season. I'm expecting Watson to come back next season 110%

I was about to say the same thing. Watson is probably a bigger star than any Astro nationally. But Harden, watt, Watson, And maybe Altuve are all huge superstars

i think kareem hunt's complete fall off a cliff has left the door open for him to still win offensive ROY. kamara just needs to slow down the final month.

I would go with LA mainly because they have so many sports teams.

They have Cody Bellinger, Clayton Kershaw, Mike Trout, Blake Griffin, #BBB and Lavar Ball.

We have the best and most talented superstars - that isn't a debate IMO. LA probably has the most volume of stars but only because they have like 2 teams for each sport.
