You know D'Antoni was salivating over the possibility of signing J.J.

Wonder where he will sign next year.
Seems like he chose philly because of the one year plus a lot of money. But seems like he wanted to go to Houston just he had few minutes to decide. If we had given him 4 year he was coming to Houston for sure.

We were waiting for Melo right? And waiting to see if we could trade Ryan.

Next year he might go to Brooklyn since they seem to play better than last year. But idk i feel like maybe he can still come here after he sees how much fun Chris is having.

Do u have the one about Chris Paul I only saw the first part.

It would be a great pick-up if we can get JJ for the 2018-2019 season.

He has a quick release and shoots a high percentage on his threes.
He shot 43% last year on his threes (career 41% three point shooter).
He also gets a decent number of rebounds for a guard.

Our offense would have been deadly with him playing next to Chris Paul and Harden.

    Harden / Paul
    Redick / Gordon
    Ariza / Tucker
    Anderson / Mah Booty
    Capela / Nene

That 10-man rotation would be sick. The bench's skill set is almost a complete reflection of the starters.

If JJ signed here then EG had to go. Idk if JJ's a better player than Gordon. Both are great fits for how we play, but I'd take EG over him

Yeah, if this is why they decided not to move on JJ. Then I'm ok with it. E.G. All day.

JJ can still come here next summer for the MLE, the problem is Luc is probably going to get the same money so, i think it'll be JJ or Luc eventually. And that if we'll stay over the cap. Personally i think i'd keep Luc.

Glad it worked out that way. I'm a big fan of Redick's game but I think utilizing our MLE on Tucker was a better way for the Rockets to go. Redick would have eaten into Gordon's minutes. I'm happy with Gordon. Whereas Tucker gives us someone who can match up and defend Draymond when the Warriors go small ball. I'm very happy with Tucker and Mbah a Moute.

    More like:

    Paul/Gordon
    Harden/Reddick
    Ariza/Moute
    Anderson/Tucker
    Capela/Nene

    But I get your point.

Redick would be an insane weapon off the bench next year. He's the sharpshooter I've wanted for years, besides Korver. I doubt Philly brings him back.

I wonder if we would have pulled the trigger on a Gordon/Anderson for Melo swap if he agreed to come here. Hed be more than redundant on a team with Harden and EGo and CP3.

Why wouldn't bring him back. They don't have to pay anyone except for Embiid for 2 more years. They could easily give him front loaded deal starting at 10-15 million like we gave Ariza.

They're gunning for free agents and are one of the more attractive destinations at this point. Unless Lebron decides to go to LA with him, I bet Paul George goes to Philly.
