Didn’t feel short. Just when I thought we reached the climax of the movie there was another hour to go.
Agreed. Usually in these movies there's a point where I'm like "enough already." I think they might have benefitted from another 15 minutes but it felt just right length-wise. All movies pretty much used to be 2 hours.
Not what I was trying to convey at all. Just know that the last after credits scene sets up up the DC universe going forward wonderfully. This movie was a great step in the right direction. If anyone was worried about the lack of set up movies for each character, don’t be. They all received plenty of brief backstory that will leave you wanting more in their own solo films. This was handled well and they all play off each other great. The villain, contrary to what early media reactions said, was solid. You will definitely see the difference in tone between this movie and the previous Snyder films. I enjoyed the darker tones but this had a great mix of seriousness and lightheartedness. Even having Batman crack some jokes was pleasant to see. The plot, while simple, made sense and was pretty straightforward made sense and the last after credit scene will help be an extension of it for further movies I believe. And finally this movie was just so beautifully shot but I wouldn’t expect anything less from a Snyder film. PS. Keep an eye out for a specific Flash scene that will make you lose it. Theatre went crazy.
@Batman Jones i know you said no spoilers but **** it Ima try. These aren't huge questions, just little **** that keeps me up at night. Does Ares cameo in the history battle? Is the robin suit from BvS in the movie?
Just bought my tickets. Dolby baby! My gf thinks we are going to see Daddy's Home 2 and the Cheesecake Factory but in reality we are going to wing stop and Justice League. This is revenge for big little liars
I can't wait. She ****ed my **** up on a weekend and drug me to a coworkers little brothers Eagle Scout ceremony in ****ing tomball.
People are saying that the movie is not perfect. There are story issues and dialogue problems. However, the superhero interaction is supposed to be great. So, Whedon came in an cleaned up some of the story and interaction...combined with Snyder does with actions and style...make for a decent movie. Going forward, Snyder will not be directing any other DCEU movies. I think the movies will be better for that.
Always loved what Whedon did with character interaction. Avengers 1, the casual banter in Ultron right before Ultron emerges, etc... I don't like how DC keeps the embargo on reviews. I don't think I see that very often in the movie industry.
I haven't been keeping up, was this confirmed? If so, was it because of the tragic loss of his daughter?
I don't think it's confirmed. Very likely though. I'd love to see Snyder's take on one of the smaller DC properties. I loved MOS
