Qi has good shooting form and already shoots free throws well. It’s just a matter of time before this discussion re ‘not yet hitting any threes as a pro is a concern’ starts making people lose even more credibility.

He really needs to watch alot of Capela.
He needs to bulk up some.
    He needs to remain active

    He has potential

silly comparison. ryan anderson is a 3pt specialist. why are you comparing him to ryan anderson, an established vet lol Qi is a 2nd round pick thats a project. still raw. but if d'antoni says hes going to be good, i believe him over most. doesn't happen overnight though.

and we all saw him play in summer league. thats what made fans interested in his potential.

Because the majority of his shots are 3 pointers.
What do you see him posting up people? let me know if you do.

He is a project, but if you criticize that his shot is off then Clutchfans gets all antsy.

Newsflash to everyone one on Clutchfans.. Yao has a child... and Qi ain't his kid

I thought I was the only Rockets fan on the planet to see him miss shots
how did making jumpers become political?
I know the answer, we all do

so he never made shots when some one's defending him?

so he has the skills but he's just hurried in the 3 minutes he plays every game

7 out of his 11 shots are 3s.

Clearly we know what his role is on offense

    Code:

Bulking up directly conflicts with shooting .... At least while the bulking up is taking place .

We saw it with DMo , and it makes sense .

As you gain strength you have to constantly alter the power . Plus , his body is probably shot from the NBA training regimen . It will take a while for him to adjust .

I'l trust Morey & MDA trusting ZQi to be a good fit on this Rockets

not some summer league spectator/analyst pushing for Luol Deng

I think my comparison of him to Wiltjer might have been doing Kyle a disservice.

So was Capela 3 years ago. Not saying Zhou will ever be as good as Clint, but he's a very raw player and needs a lot of time in the D League.

    CONS:
Chee seems to have bad hands. Can that be corrected?
He is not that strong. He needs to get some strength about him
His shot is not falling. He rushes his shot and maybe some mechanics issues

    PROS:
I like his defensive hustle and timing
