What excuse will they use for denying Harden MVP this season?

Harden failed to win Player of the week this week.

They gave it to Jokic who had a 12 point game, a 15 point game, and a 41 point game where the Nuggets went 3-0.

That is highway robbery.

 

You didn't think they were going to give it to Harden 4 weeks in a row.. That would be acknowledging something they don't want to acknowledge.

 

Just curious why the league de-values awards like that. It is clear Jokic wasn't the best player. I just find it strange how they would ignore someone who played much better during the week.

 

Silver clearly trying to ruin Harden's career. I mean, Harden is playing better than last year.. We thought that was impossible. You can only hear about his dominance on twitter. The Media has largely ignored him which I find absolutely amazing.

 

Giannis is the new Westbrook. Media fawning over him already. I can already see Harden getting snubbed for the 3rd time lol

 

But his team is doing good without him...

Westbrook was Wild West -- Plus.. tri-dub AND scoring-leader is verrry nice stats.

Giannis will NOT win this young, when a 2x coin-flip losing veteran has an easy case.

 

Westbrook deserves it because he carried Anthony all season.

You know McHale won't give any love to Harden. He secretly knows Harden is better than Irving but his pride won't let him endorse the bearded one.

 

Give KL the trophy already, then he can sit for the next 2 month without worrying.

 

It's his to lose unless they get less than 45 wins. Voters will be creative with criteria again just to deny the Beard.

 

This guy suggested Harden's narrative could be he believed he was the MVP last year, he's going to prove it again.

The MVP SHOULD
1. have shorter beard
2. have longer name than anyone esle.
3. have more rebound( and have less rebound)
4.have smaller belly.
5. have more buzzer beaters (which actually means he can't extend the lead too easily)
