There is nothing wrong with doing what you like, even if those things that you like could be considered boring. That being said, trying to justify antisocial/reclusive behaviour is, like others have mentioned, a form of denial

Agreed. Just about all humans are wired to want at least some companionship and love. what will change his tune quickly if he meets the right woman. Also, women are nearly universally turned off by a guy who is boring (i.e. a dull personality). It's worse than being shy, or short, or inexperienced, etc.
Sounds like a wasted life to me. The only reason one would choose to be boring is because there is no cognitive ability to figure out what the reason of being on this planet is. That's not to say non-boring people know the answer to that, but they are willing to try and find out. You either get to living or get to dying....there is no middle ground.
That does make plenty of sense. Though that goes against your original point of not wanting to keep people entertained and choosing boring as an acceptable default. You don't like the pressure of entertaining the other. And you don't like the pressure of the other person's boredom either. So you just don't like pressure and expectations, of any kind. There can be some grey area in this. Like someone else said, boredom is relative. (Are you just vanilla and not "fun" by females arbitrary standard and just know your limits? Do you not just like overly high-maintenance people? Do you value very LOW maintenence/NO MAINTENANCE people? ETC) But you said this as an absolute. You acknowledged there's a standard high and low and don't want to meet them. Being "boring" by general definition means "not fun at ALL". It could be that you're just being too stubborn and lazy to a fault.
Are you sure you are not gay? There is nothing wrong with that (don't you start hitting on me.) You should take a long look in the mirror and come to terms with reality. You live one time. Make the best of it while you are here. Regrets about life are the last thing you worry about when you die. Why not make the best with you have?
