The rockets lack one thing to compete with the warriors

    A defensive kd stopper. I am going to suggest something that I know already y'all are going to hate. But if I were the rockets I would look into trading Eric Gordon for MKG.

    Y'all won't like it because MKG can't shoot.
    Y'all overvalue Eric Gordon way too much.
    You think either Capella or Tucker is "good enough."
    Y'all are too analytics driven and MKG's value can't be measures by stats you value.

    The problem is that while you all have a backcourt that can compete with the warriors. The difference is KD. Period.

    If you look around the nba at players that can be elite stoppers: Lebron, Kawhi, Draymond. The list is pretty short. MKG can neutralize KD to an extent, and it would help the rockets get bigger.

    Capella
    MKG
    Ariza
    Harden
    Paul

    The thing is, I don't know if charlotte would make that deal. MKG is just 24, but I would offer it and see.
