Man after all that Doc Rivers **** talk I am pretty annoyed. I wish all three teams would lose mercilessly.

Just from a rockets perspective I think it benefits us more for spurs and okc to lose.

From an emotional perspective, yeh **** Doc Rivers lmao

Then why is Bev 5th on the team in assists per game?

Teodosic has only played 2 games this year. Griffin is leading the team in assists.

Is "shot attempts per turnover" a stat that is meaningful? I've never heard that before. On the other hand, his assist/turnover ratio has gone from 4.2/1.5 last year to 3.0/2.3 this year, which is a huge drop. Can't say that that is "absolutely fantastical statistically" for a PG by any stretch...especially for a guy who wanted to leave the Rockets for an opportunity to be more of a playmaker.

I know ... I was just trying to say that I didn't expect Rivers to change PBev's role all that much, despite Bev's quotes in camp about doing more playmaking. I mentioned Teodosic, because that's what convinced me Rivers doesn't view Bev as a replacement for Paul ... that is, they'd either use Teodosic in Paul's role, or run a different offense.

oh, and fwiw: even Griffin's assist numbers are down, despite leading the team. The offense is completely different...at least it was last night.

I'm not trying to say he's a playmaker, I'm saying he's scoring more.

Well, you could have then just said he's scoring 12pts/game now vs. 9pts/game with the Rockets...would have been easier. Basically he's taking 3 shots more per game, and he's shooting the 3 better. But his PER is about the same (13.6 vs. 13.0) and his TS% is actually down.

his 3 pt % will go down below what it was with the rockets by seasons end. it should still be a decent % though

Damn... Lou Williams is averaging 16 and a half a game in 25 and a half minutes. That's impressive production.

Looks like the Clippers are injury riddled right now though. Rivers and Bev out. Maybe more, but I didn't look that closely. What's up with their losing streak?

Not necessarily. The Knicks are actually respectable this season.

The way Rocket fans talk about our training staff like it is trash and Clippers out here rushing Bev back (my assumption) only to get him injured again after 1 game..

I've come to realize we have the best training staff in the league.

I think the offense is ths same...which is garbage. Doc Rivers is a sham, when given an ordinary team he can't do anything, just like Mchale he is a "personality" guy rather than an actual coach who knows his Xs and Os.

The only difference is before they had Cp3 who could freestyle and create for everyone.
