How thankful are you now that the Melo trade didn't happen?

    Westbrook and PG's numbers and effectiveness are dropping down the chute. Melo taking 18 shots a game and averaging 1.8 assists.

    You can't teach an old dog new tricks. ISO Melo was never going anywhere.

    Some of the best trades are those you don't make, and the Rockets dodged one of the biggest bullets the NBA has to offer with this one.

    I am of the belief that with CP here (and MDA's offense) Melo would be playing differently.

    I’m not thankful. I think a big 4 of Paul, Harden, Melo and Gordon gives us a better chance to beat GSW than what we currently have. Oh well

    Who knows.

    Chemistry plays a big factor and Melo is a wild card.

    Melo going 3-17 and taking shots away from better players is not helping us beat Golden State.

    I think Melo would have played a lot differently if he was a Rocket. All those long 2s he's shooting as a Thunder would not be happening here.. All those iso post ups would be at a minimum here.

    You honestly think LeBron would factor Carmelo freaking Anthony in any way, shape, or form into his decision-making? They may be friends, but LeBron has arguably the highest BBIQ of all-time and hence he sees what Carmelo's game brings you (or doesn't).

    Yes, the sample size is small, but the fact Melo is currently taking the most shots on a team in which he's the 3rd best payer is already startling. You think he's just gonna all of sudden start deferring more?

    If anything, you would've thought he would shoot less to start his career off with OKC to better ingratiate himself with Russ and PG...but not Melo lmao

    I was semi confident that Melo could help us out, but I didn't want him for a huge cost.
