This is a mobile offense that has worked really well over the past 4 weeks. We can't go back to the stationary Savage. We have nothing to lose since we don't even have our 1st or 2nd round picks. Kapernick fits this offense.
He makes 100% sense. Going to Savage is not going to win games and the style of offense you would need to run to incorporate Savage would be detrimental to the rest of the team who need to be learning to play with a Deshaun style quarterback Radio also just said that BOB gave Kaepernick serious consideration this offseason Tanking also wont help us because we have no picks From a football standpoint, Kaepernick makes more sense than savage

McNair would rather bring back David Carr or Matt Schuab before he would allow Rick Smith to sign Kap.
I think it will help McNair save face while also pissing off another part of his fan base. He gives you a better chance to win that Matt McGloin for whatever that's worth. Hopefully Savage can do a good enough job to keep us in the game.
