I sure plenty of other managers could have led this team to a WS, talent is what really wins in baseball. But we don't have to wonder if Hinch "could" have done it, he did it.

Rudy T finally has some company.

I have felt he was an idiot at times. Surely we all have. However, he turned out to be a very Rudy T-like coach—Players liked him, he kept his cool at virtually all times, paid attention to the numbers but went with his gut when he had a good feeling. Naturally, he'll be fired two years from now.

I personally liked Larry Dierker before AJ Hinch came along. Both knew the game of baseball, and were great in the clubhouse.

Carlos Delgado would have swept the dodgers. FIRE HINCH.

    No love for Phil Garner?

    Dierker was great, too.

Those teams just had a different feel. The young guys just have a different vibe to them.

Getting your team over the finish line in multiple long series in the same postseason? That's the stuff of legends.

Interesting read today on yahoo sports. The Astros management pays for his first two ejections from a game in the year. Something about if it's needed to lift the spirits of the team it's warranted and paid for.

Yeah pretty obvious those threads are for people that are traded, cut, fired, etc. (No longer on the team).

AJ Hinch is better than Bob Lillis was. Never thought I'd say that.
