That’s what I meant last night by these games being fabricated for LA... It’s not that the league cheated The Astros it’s that the media and pretty much everyone outside Texas is rooting for LA. This is the story they wanted and I can’t imagine it doesn’t screw you mantaly even as a player.

If LA loses we go on to “LA is an amazing team but Houston won”. If LA wins it’s going to be “LA with a historical comeback and Hollywood finish” Houston has gotten nothing with the exception of a few people who truly see how special our team is.

I get that sticking with Springer paid off eventually, but does Hinch ride Reddick out till the bitter end?

I dont know if I can watch the game tonight. I really wouldnt be able to take it if it doesnt happen. My ranger friends always asked me, "would you rather have won a game in 05 or have taken it to game 7 like they did?". Ive always said if Im gonna lose, go ahead and put me out of my misery and sweep me. I said this with a little bit of a jealousy bias, not have knowing what winning a game in the world series felt like. Today, I stand firm and content in my answer of old. Tonight could potentially hurt more than ever. I do not want to know what this may feel like.

He likely will. I don't think he should though.

The Astros have basically been put into the villain spot. I'm not sure why, maybe because for ESPN they robbed them of their NY/LA series, but it was like this before the Gurriel thing and I'm not sure why. This is a lovable team with humble players.

It's not a Houston thing with ESPN, it's just a circumstance thing. Look at how they treat Watson vs Harden or this Astro team. They love Watson. Some weeks the entire story is all about him, they don't show the other team's highlights, just talk about Watson for the entire thing and it's clear their narrative is that he's a protagonist and the rest of the teams are merely villains he has to beat.

For the Dodgers, the Astros are that last boss.

I sort of understand, it's a lot of pressure, but it's a lot of fun IMO.

Win or lose, you never know when or if your team will ever get this chance again. Watch it.

If they lose it will be heartbreaking, but, we watch sports for the memories in the end. If they win? It will be exhilarating. Better than winning 4-0? I don't think so, I'd rather just dominate and win and have no stress, but this will make it more special if we pull this out.

The Astros have a 50% chance of winning tonight.

Regardless of what happens, everything is good. This is the best Astros team in franchise history. The Astros will have gone 7 games in one of the most competitive WS ever.

No matter the outcome, this is a once-in-a-lifetime game in what has been one of the greatest World Series of all time. The baseball purist in me is loving every second...even if the Astros fan in me is dying a million deaths per second.

Keuchal out of the pen is pretty far down in my opinion. Maybe as a lefty on lefty specialist if that lefty has a history of struggling against Keuchal. I am talking 1 for 20 no walks. Sadly I trust Keuchal about as much as I trust Liriano out of the pen. Keuchal is a starter. He just is not pen material.

Agreed. I have to post this now. IF we lose tonight I won't be able to post anything positive because of the moment. But this team has been the absolute most enjoyable sports team Houston has had since the 94/95 Rockets. They have earned the right to be called a great team. Win or Lose. They are a special team and whats awesome is that the core will be back next year. We get to ride again. Imagine this core and adding a ready Kyle Tucker??

Last night was the night to make a change with a lefty pitching. It was the perfect chance. Maybin is 2-5 with a walk against Rich Hill. With Yu pitching tonight he is going to stick with Reddick due to the left handed bat. Hell I would roll with Beltran if he had any defense left. Clearly the moment is WAY too big for Josh. Maybe it would not be for Beltran.

Is it possible to be softer on Giles? He's collapsed this series.

Oddly enough I feel pretty confident about tonight's game. We have endured so much since the beginning of this post season, fighting and grinding out Wins. Both teams backs are against the walls but I feel the Stros will play loose tonight and just leave it on the field. Either way, I am proud of this ball club. Go Stros!

Still just completely bummed about our pathetic showing last night. Woke up miserable. I can't take us laying down in game 7 like we did last night.

Regarding Verlander: “I couldn’t see anything out of his hand,” laughed Cody Bellinger. “That’s why he struck me out a million times.”

One, Two, One -- Astros run totals in L's this series

Dodgers haven't scored less than Three.

Score some damn runs and/or hold LA to One.

I feel like a whipped dog. This freaking series has been exhausting. Yes, we lost but we hit the ball well just didn't capitalize when we needed to. Feeling confident we just need to get the bats going early.
