FINALLY SAW THIS IN THE THEATER!! Sorry for caps thought it was GREAT! Visuals and Audio were insane, if you remotely like the 1st I think you should see it before it's at the cheapo theaters. I personally am a fan of the first and really enjoyed the 2nd. Wish I saw it sooner like I had planned, the good news is I somehow managed to miss any spoilers.

I am so tempted to hop in the theatre again, just because no one else is supporting the film, haha.

Have to say, really surprised this movie tanked relative to expectations. Did poorly over seas too.

I liked the ending. The "fake" man feeling real snowfakes and the "real" woman playing with virtual snowflakes. Which one is more real. It summarized the whole theme of the movie in one scene.

I agree. I was incredibly satisfied and it brought back thoughts of "Tears in Rain".

I love how Ryan Gosling lays down in insignificance and we realize how unimportant his existence is, something we all have to face.

I am so bummed that it tanked, because a 3rd Blade Runner of this quality would put it right up there as far as trilogies go in my book.

To be fair, the marketing of the film wasn't great.
Maybe they needed to change the name.

I believe audiences now want sci-fi to be Guardians of the Galaxy, to be more humorous and family friendly.

Which is a shame because this movie was way better than any Marvel movie. Agreed that the marketing wasn't that great tho.

I agree the marketing wasn't great and they relied too heavily on "it's Bladerunner, dammit!"
But then, what could they have done? It's not a movie that lends itself to trailers, really, or easy versions of "what's it about, anyway?"

Still haven't seen it, even though I'm excited too, just too damn long and too much going on right now. SO long. That and all the theaters I enjoy going to have been bought out and bastardized recently.
