It's just hard for me to consider a guy who was drafted in 2013 a real 'vet', but I suppose 4 years is enough. What gets me about this is that Jackson already seems more comfortable at an NBA pace than Canaan has ever looked. What perplexes me further is Canaan, as small as he is, IS NOT a point guard. That's another myth being floated around, much like his 'great' shot. That's what we need momentarily right? He sucks as a point guard, he can't pass- he can't play that position. This is why the last two teams he was on played him as a shooting guard instead of a point guard. We still could have found someone else thats much more suitable to our needs in this limited pool than Canaan.
The worst thing about that trade is that Philly used that 2nd rounder to draft Holmes if i remember well.
yeah, making @Batman Jones argument in the Woj thread the correct one. tl/dr: BJ says the position here being behind two HOFers and the reigning 6MOY is not attractive to vets looking to contribute to a contender....guaranteed minimum or not.
Not that I mind this ... But what the hell did we sign Bobby Brown for !? We have pg issues and we sign 2 !!! New PG's over playing him . And we play Demetrius over him ? **** if he's hardens boy , I don't wanna have a roster spot go to someone who isn't better than off the street FA 's
