By how much? The Warriors are $35 million over the salary cap. Durant makes $25 million after his current pay cut. Even if he took a symbolic salary of $1, Warriors would still be over the cap. The only way this is possible if they do a sign-and-trade involving Thompson and Iguodala to match George's at least $30 million starting salary. That would be gutting the team and messing with team chemistry. In that case, Warriors might as well pursue LeBron instead.
Guys dont come after my head. I only quoted what Durant himself said lol... What Warriors want, Warriors get.
OK, So, either the Pacers won this trade or WB held back Oladipo and Sabonis (is that redundant?) Game 1 Oladipo 22 points on 6-12 shooting, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 stealsSabonis 16 points on 7-7 shooting, 7 rebounds in 19 minutes Game 3 Oladipo 28 points on 10-22 shooting 4-7 3s, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 stealsSabonis 18 points and 12 rebounds on 6-10 shooting
I have no doubt if Wesbrook played like human being, the OKC thunder would have been better last season.
I have been saying for a while now that RW has been holding Adams back. Adams has shown flashes of taking it to the next level but he just doesnt get as involved in their offense as he should.
Funny thing is: everyone in the media is looking at adams' 5REB average and act like he has regressed but every time i watch them i'm like "dafuq are they talking about? He's pretty good and not his fault that brickbrook takes his rebounds." But whatever guys - the more i listen to the chris broussards and stephen A's of this world the more i get the feeling that they just dont watch the games, look at boxscores, act like they know everything and stats are everything. Im just waiting for oladipo to have a 45point game because then the media will talk about it and the question will be if brickbrook held him back. But we know the media - they'll say "oladipo has made a giant leap forward from last year - not MVP RUSSEL GOATBROOK aka "the walking tripple double"- 's fault." LOL
Steven Adams should be averaging around 14 & 10 every game. I think he has the talent to do that, personally. I guarantee he would do that if he played with Harden.
If Adams and Harden were a tandem without 2 more major stars yes. Adams knows how to do work away from the limelight.
If WB is standing within 5 feet, Adams isn't allowed to rebound the ball. Ain't no way he'll average 10 rebs. With the egos of WB, PG and Melo to satisfy, doubtful he can average 14 points over a season. It's all good with Adams because his 4yr/$100MM extension just kicked in. He won't say one word. All he has to do is keep his mouth shut and get paid one more time in 2021.
Yesterday against the Mavs i certainly saw at least two times that Harden had the chance to grab a free rebound but he let Anderson and Ariza grab them, maybe it happened more times but again, two times for sure. Westbrook on the other hand...it's pretty funny to see him every game getting like 12 boards meanwhile your Adam and Melo are stuck to 5 and 2 lol
What happened to that Paul George is dying stuff? He is playing fantastic, and the Thunder are ROLLING. I hope and pray that they beat up GSW a little bit for us.
