Seems a long stretch to compare both lol. Mudiay is not good so far and at best is average. Murray still has lots to prove and doesn't have that one elite skill set all 3 of the gsw lottery picks had of 3pt shooting. But in regards to Denver overall, I think they shall improve and be binge playoff contending type of a team similar to the mark Jackson era warriors. They have lots of young talent that hopefully come around and improve. They really need a quality pg imo. One that doesn't need to dominate the ball bcause of jokic and his brilliance. That player is on Memphis. If I'm Denver, at the deadline I put together a nice package to try and get Conley.
This seems like it's written by the Denver Nuggets marketing department as a last ditch effort to sell season tickets.
that presentation really has me questioning now whether all our DEN games will be double digits wins or not
I would be surprised, since they would play 1st or 2nd seed if they even make the Playoffs. With current team, they have a shot for one game in the series, but not 4.
I think they made a mistake by signing Milsap, think they made a mistake in not cashing out on Gallinari last season, made a mistake by trading Nurkic and a 1st for an older/less talented big, made a mistake by trading Mitchell for a later picks just to stock pile a couple of stretch 4's (Lyles/Lydon) and they would be making a mistake to not cash out on Wilson Chandler this season as well. Jokic, Harris, Murry, Hernangomez, Mudiay are all 23 and under, their time will come in about 3 more years, when the Warriors are old. They could have stuck with younger players, cashed out on the older ones, saved their cap, got some higher picks, kept flexible to sign or trade for a younger piece/star later down the road. Instead they have rushed it, shame.
Had no clue they drafted, then TRADED Mitchell! They really are some idiots lol. Murray, Mitchell, Harris, Jokic, Mudiay, would've been ridiculous in 3-4 years.
There wasn't anything to cash out with for Gallo. The guy is hurt more than anyone in the NBA, they weren't gonna get anything for him. Nurkic was a locker room problem and basically refused to play after Jokic took his spot. The 1st rounder they included was step, but they had to get rid of him. They had cash to spend and Milsap isn't gonna effect their ability to keep their building blocks. The current roster can compete for a 5 seed right now, and being relevant again is pretty important for them at this point. You can't give Nuggets tickets away
Y'all are sleeping on the Nugs. Jokic is something else, and Millsaps is a pretty perfect fit next to him I think. Not saying their a top team in the West, but with a deceptively deep roster, the could surprise some people
