Honestly, Watson may not be as "effective" with a better oline. He seems to be at his best improvising when his protection breaks down, extending plays allowing receivers to get open.
When we played NE and our last hope was a bomb into the endzone I remember thinking, man hes got an arm, that was pretty close. Then he had 2 bombs this past game and one of them was not even a hail mary, it was a perfect throw to Fuller where only he could get it.
Yes I said this earlier. Time to protect the franchise and Watson is the franchise. We have i thought the one to Hopkins was fantastic too
Favorite play of the game was the pump he threw towards Hop where he saw the linebacker sitting mid route and then tossed to Fuller for the TD. Big time. Kids starting to see things better.
anyone have a video of Watson bombs? the one to fuller is amazing (I was there at the game) That throw was right on the money
So about half the time he's under pressure lol. His ability to dodge the rush is amazing. It's not because he's mobile either (well not JUST because) he has a real feel for how to dodge guys and how to use his body. Very, very impressive. He must have at least 4 or 5 plays a game where he is basically sacked and gets out of it to get the ball downfield.
