I was saying Capela would get 4 years 100 a month ago and most were laughing saying no way he does.

I was wrong. Capela is getting 4 years 120.

    My head just exploded!

Is this the same guy who's played 31 games in 3 seasons?

Is he even cleared for 5-on-5 yet?

They sure as hell have a lot of faith on a guy that has had a hard time staying healthy and has missed two years already.

A lot of money for an injury-prone, minute limit guy (albeit good WHEN/IF healthy but still)

seriously stupid decision by the Sixers.

Embid is a RFA next summer. If he is healthy they could've just offered him the max OR matched any of the offers he gets from other teams. IF he wasn't, which is often the case, I doubt that anyone would've given him the full max.

But even IF someone was willing to offer him the max, it would've been for less years and $ than this extension.

Sixers fans better hope there are some significant provisions/opt out written into the contract for games played/injuries.

Depending on the details, maybe the sixers weren't so stupid after all...

If most of that money isn't based on playing time this could go down as the worst contract in league history.

This guy when he gets hurt, he doesn't play for an entire season, the NBA insurance thing will pay him , low-risk

I'm sure there are a myriad of injury stipulations.

    This reeks of Oden.
