We never had a good QB in Texans history, but we finally ended a drought...We finally have a great QB. Welcome to Houston, Deshaun Watson. I really think he will help Texans tremendously. I like his character. You saw him give a check to cafeteria women..wow., thats kind of person he is. I just want to thank God for making him come here.

He looks All-World for a two-game rookie starter.

Time will continue and we'll see everything.

His character is unimportant, does he perform is the only thing that matters. Phillip Rivers is a douche bag piece of garbage but is a highly productive top tier qb, same goes for Peyton manning and Ben rothlisberger. I can go on and on.

Focus on his skills, the black qb having to be a 'model' character guy to be accepted is a played out rhetoric. I accept production.

Dude hell yes. Top 2 or 3 band ever for me. I have some similar memories at their old shows ;)

House of blues either 2008 or 2009 was epic

I love the kid too, but let's not forget RG3, and even Tim Tebow to a lesser extent.

Yes we get it. Those guys didn't pan out for whatever reason. Why don't we try not forgetting all the good that we have seen from Watson so far in his NFL career instead of bringing that up in every positive convo.

    1) You're getting way ahead of yourself. People were saying the same thing about Osweiler last year (at least until a couple of games into the season).

    2) Schaub was a Top 8-12 QB for about 4 or 5 seasons. Acting like we've never had good QB play or that Watson will automatically be a perennial Top 10 QB at this point is just stupid.

I'll give you RG3 but Tebow was always trash in the pros.

I agree, but he had the big playoff win over the Steelers after winning a few games, and he was highly touted in college. Figured it was a worthy enough comparison because of that.

Like I said, I love Watson. He's extremely exciting. I just don't want to anoint him yet and then have him come crashing down to earth.

Hopefully he continues the upward tick.
