So I'm assuming we're going to play the Red Sox in the first matchup, they have Sale, Porcello, Pomeranz, and I'm guessing they'll go with Edwardo Rodriguez as their 4th. Three lefties. How do we match up with them? Do you put Gattis as our DH since Beltran has been terrible against lefties and then have Stassi as our backup? Does Maybin start for Reddick, or do you trust his 2017 success against LHP? Or do you have Maybin start for Marwin?

I'm actually pretty nervous about this matchup.

    Springer
    Bregman
    Altuve
    Correa
    Gattis
    Reddick
    Marwin
    Yuli
    McCann

Reddick plays.... defense is still a plus, and he's actively improved his approach against lefties.

As soon as they don't need more runs, I'm getting Marwin over to 1B, and Maybin in CF.

Is David Price not a factor to start? He has been pitching out of the pen lately. I know Sale is a beast but how do their other starters match up with ours?

Does Marisnick make a playoff roster to pinch run? Could be valuable.

the only way we will see gattis and mccann in the lineup together is if they carry 3 catchers... don't see the need for it in a 5 game series... rather that spot go to another arm in the pen

How may arms do we need in a 5 game. Would rather carry 3 catchers and have oso DH. I just don't see Beltran contributing.

    Arms
    DK
    JV
    CMorton
    BP

    Pen
lmj ( if his final start is crap McHugh)
    Harris
    Devo
    Liriano
    Musgrove
    Giles
Luke Greg ( AJ has a throbbed for him so he will be there)

    Position
    Gurriel
    Altuve
    Correa
    Bregman
    McCann
    Reddick (if healthy)
    Springer
    Margo
    Gattis

    Bench
    Beltran
    Centeno
    Maybin
    White
Davis (if Moran shows some flashes take him)

Fiers, Hoyt, Martes, and Sipp as Official luggage carriers.

Jake is about a billion times better in the OF, and he's also better at the plate.

Last I heard Jake could be back for the WS.

ETA: and again, they can reset the roster after every series.
