They need to eat, sleep, dream basketball.

    12 hrs a day hooping.

btw how old are they? After a certain age, it becomes exponentially more difficult to make it pro.

There's an old saying that goes something like it takes 10,000 hours to master anything.

    Are they tall?

Depends on the genes bro. If you are 7'5 then very lil.

If you are 5'3 then 10 hours everyday for 20 years still wouldnt be enough

72 hours straight. Non stop. You must also practice a quick release, much quicker than paulwtfs. It's hard to believe hes not pro level quick as quick as his is.

I'm a professional musician. I spent most of my time in college practicing 4-6 hours a day by myself and 2-4 hours a day playing with other people. I was in the practice room when they opened the music building in the morning. I'd practice until my first class, play some throughout the day, go home after my last class to eat dinner and do homework, then I'd come back and practice until they closed the music building.

That said, there's a thing called "deliberate practice" which, in part, requires you to be mentally focused at all times. No mindless repetition. You must be mindful of your body at all times as you're constantly refining fine motor skills. You will become mentally fatigued before you become physically fatigued, at least in the case of musicians. The great violinist Itzhak Perlman that the most a person can really be fully mentally engaged in practice before becoming too fatigued for practice to be beneficial is about 4 hours.

So I would think of that as a potential goal. There are some things such as general conditioning that might require less active thought. But as far as skill building (as opposed to physical development) like shooting, dribbling, passing, etc... 4 hours would be about the max.

FWIW, this is kind of geared toward building towards being a master/expert. If the goal is simply to be good, less is obviously required.

No need to worry about this.

Sauces say James Harden has ruined basketball to the point that it will be outlawed world wide soon enough.

Don't know how serious this thread is but if your kids don't have an incredible natural aptitude no amount of practice is going to get them to the pros.
If you're looking for your kids to get vast riches from the NBA so you can live in style in your old age it might be as good to take that money you're paying for a private coach and buy lottery tickets.
