Can't figure out why UT is playing on a Thursday. Stros on one screen, Horns on the other.

I recall more lighting delays than weather in football history.

here we go again with this injury luck BS and the worst strength and conditioning staff in the league after the chargers.

already down to third string linemen, safeties, and running backs and it's only week 3. this team loses like 3 starters every week. at this rate lions and vikings even with keenum will be competing for that division.

I'm getting saltier by the minute.

Not qb related, but the offense is a joke right now. Defense is bringing the hammer.

How is Trevathan still in the game after that hit? He's going to be fined / suspended after this and deservedly so.

The NFL just approved ejections for egregious hits to the head this past summer. No earthly idea why Trevathan was allowed to finish the game.

Trevathan should be suspended about 6 games and the referee should have his head examined.

I don't understand the reaction to that hit. Should it have been flagged? Probably. But a suspension and fine is unwarranted.

If the NFL is so against these types of plays then the refs need to blow the whistle earlier for forward progress. He was a runner trying to break tackles and gain extra yards. If Trevathan doesn't involve himself in the play he would have gotten torched in the film room. That's not to say he had to take his head off, but watching it live I didn't get the impression he did it on purpose. It's really easy to make false assumptions when you watch something in super slo-mo.
