Even with Melo, we still would have been a significant underdog to GSW. LEBRON is the only player that could put us on GSWs level. I'm not suggesting that he is interested, but as we get later in the season, I think it's entirely possible Lebron discovers that the Cavs can't win and starts looking around. If he does, we are well positioned to land him and would probably be willing to pay the price to get him.
Eh, the Lakers are well positioned too. Adding Melo to CP on the Rockets was their best way to get into the conversation.
No way to add both Melo and LeBron when we would be past the apron. A resurgent Ryno will be a big salary piece for the sign and trade with Cleveland next summer. We need to get this thread to 1000 pages and LeBron to Houston will happen.
I think we are better positioned than the Lakers. Ball and Ingram haven't proved _____. Bron trying to win rings not babysit.
'Bron, Harden, and CP3 is the best "big three" that can be realistically constructed to beat Golden State.
Wow. From Melo to Houston to Melo officially to OKC to let's get LeBron...haha...**** all of this. Everything burns.
Cp3 and LeBron might play together somewhere but not here because we value role players over stars for some odd reason.
LeBron ditched Wade when he was 32. Why would he choose Wade and Melo when they'll be 37 and 34, respectively?
How much cap space do the Lakers have any ways? Also, why wouldn't Lebron just want to play with CP3 and Harden? Is Westbrook and George that much better?
A trio of Westbrook, George and lebron is just as good if not better than harden, cp3 and lebron. But Chris Paul will be 33 years old next season, while Westbrook and George are still in their mid to late 20's.
Please lock this up while you're ahead lol. Morey couldn't deliver Melo or George. You can't possibly believe that Morey can deliver Lebron.
better hope Lebron doesn't make the finals this year so he'll be even more likely to gtfo out of Cleveland.
