    In Melo
    Out Anderson & Capela

Before I get burned at the stake please hear me out. We can not have the banana boat and pay Capela (new contract), too. Melo gets us a step closer to LaBron at a discount. Black & Nene (better rebounders) are all that is needed at the center with a signing of G league all star to fill in the gaps (Nene back to backs). Anderson is a serviceable bad contract and Capela is sweetener to get the deal done. Give to get. Thank you Mr. Capela for your service and only the best to you and yours. We move forward with a big 3 with the 4th on reserve.

I understand what you are saying but the likelihood of us getting LeBron is 10% at best, so to throw away the perfect modern big man for that just isn't worth it. IMO that move just makes us worse.

Actually, Anderson and Capela for Melo and KOQ would be an upgrade in the middle.

Spacing - we need Anderson or someone else with a outstanding outside game for the offensive to work. Gasol is over kill, Black and Nene with a 3rd string unknown low paid center that focuses on rebounding is all that needed.

Would have to go like this,is where knicks get a all expiring, but would have to send pick to bucks for Monroe. Bucks would get Capela + Pick for taking on Anderson, and moving Monroe. Knicks get all those NG.

you read the article about monroe not being happy coming off the bench. Hes a big expiring, plus this year i dont think that gomez kid is really ready to be a starter, they absolutely weak at the position.

Let's pump the breaks on "perfect modern big man"

not only can he not stretch the floor, he can't play a lot of matchups. Remember what happens everytime Brook Lopez comes into town?

How about perfect system fit and the type of center you need to beat the warriors.

The trade in trade machine had us getting O’quinn. I like the thought but why would NYK gift him to us? I would be thankful but can’t see it happening.

Listen, don't make me dog on my guy, he's good...but 'perfect' is a bit extreme. just off the top of my head, I'd rather have:

    Marc Gasol
    Draymond Green
    Kristaps Porzingis
    Anthony Davis
    Karl Anthony Towns
    Rudy Gobert
    Jahlil Okafor
probably Hassan Whiteside, but he a knucklehead
probably demarcus cousins, but he a knucklehead

    max

Ok. Perfect for us for the price he will draw in a saturated market next year and for his age.
Capela will get something like 14-19 million next year and that value for his role and fit is huge for us.

I understand where you are coming from I am just making debate and playing a bit of devils advocate

Why would Draymond leave GS? They will almost certainly give him the max.

If wade signed a small 2 year deal now, say melo + Lebron comes in 2018. Would be nuts.

Melo will get bought out by OKC next year after Russ and PG leave.
