Is this the year Capela turns into a superstar?

Drummond may very well have more value as a player but I dont think he has more value to the rockets.

Capela is better at running the floor, fast break+ pick and roll type of stuff.

Drummond is prolly better defender (havent seen enough pistons games to know) and prolly rebounder (havent googled the stats) but not sure his skills are made for a up tempo 3 point offense.

Would he ask for the ball besides lobs?

I think Capela compares more to Gobert. I'd be absolutely ecstatic if he reaches anywhere near the level of where Gobert was last year. Superstar though? Not too sure about that.

He's honestly horrible. He's got pretty bad hands, but he's young, plays hard as ****, and doesn't complain. I love him for that, but as a basketball player he's ****. He's a really bad starter, I'd sell high on him before demands $20M a year.

He was the age of a senior in college last year and has not played 2 seasons worth of games yet.

I'm pretty certain that he will still improve this year. Besides how good he is, he also will have Paul or Harden passing to him every single minute he is on the court. That should not hurt. He may shoot right at 70% this year.

So what? Who cares if he's the age of a senior in college this past year?

The body maturation, talent level, and skill level is what needs to progress. He's ****. Got bad hands, horrible inbounds passing, weak rebounder.

He's just not a very good player.

lol so what? it actually matters. who cares? people that actually follow players who are willing and put in the work to improve. obviously not something it seems you're interested in or understands

hes improved every single year and is projected to continue doing so. when he plateaus and is set as a player we would see it.

Gonna have to wait for another Capela to come along in the draft if you're expecting that name to carry superstar meaning.

Lol at "lmao". Like it's so apparently obvious Capela is light years ahead of Drummond, even putting them in the same sentence is laughable.

I doubt Capela will ever become a superstar, but I think he's on his way to becoming perfectly specialized to our offense. He may be one of the top lob big men in the league, if not the best, which will only be accentuated by the fact that we just signed CP3. Capela was second in alley oops last year, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he led the league this year.

But Drummond is just a freak of nature. 7 foot, 8 foot wingspan. He could fit perfectly into our offense as well, the want for post touches somewhat alarms me (since he is almost as bad at post offense as Howard), but I may be able to give it pass given their second best player is Reggie Jackson. Who the hell else is going to score in Detroit?

Defensively he can be inconsistent, but there's no doubt when he's locked in and motivated he's one of the best defensive bigs in the league.

Not to mention he is quiet likely the best rebounder in the league, defensively and offensively.

I would love him on the Rockets.

You have to have some semblance of an individual offensive game to be considered for the "superstar" moniker.

The odds of Capella becoming a superstar is the same odd of me having anal sex with Kate Upton

Capela just needs his balls to drop and start throwing bows in the post

It does seem like every year he gets a bit more aggressive but he just needs to turn into a man down low
