    This cryerpunk universe looks infinitely better than that Ghost in the Shell garbage. And Roger Deakins is GOAT!!!!

    I want to be hyped about this, but it seems like a stretch. Someone give me some bullet points about why it'll be good. Blade Runner is a masterpiece.

    Would one need to watch the first movie to understand this one? I tried watching the first one a couple years back but i didnt enjoy it and fell asleep halfway. The graphics and acting were just horrible.

    Never seen the original blade runner, but from what I have seen it looked like a cop looking for androids submersed in the population, so my guess is that this movie reverses the plot, as it looks like the cop is an android looking for humans that have infiltrated their population. Reckon I'll watch original tonight if I have time given the fanfare it gets as a masterpiece.
