How does the rules work on cutting a player mid season? Are the texans saving money on this? Cushing needs to be released.

 

Suspended for 10 games without pay. Does that not mean the Texans get to keep their money?

 

Actually him getting caught does Bob McNair a solid. Cushing was set to miss significant time with this concussion, and Uncle Bob would have been on the hook for his salary. Maybe this is the league doing Bob a favor.*

You just described a whole bunch of NFL players, and hopefully no more Texans. Once a cheat always a cheat. The problem with the NFL is that if they really want to ban PED use, they need to test all players before and after every single NFL game. As costly as that may be they reap in billions from networks and can afford it. Random testing isn't enough to weed them all out.

There will always be guys who find a way to cheat no matter what they do in life, even if they grew up being taught right and wrong, and had good law abiding parents with outstanding character. Sure, there are kids who grew up with no role models, and saw stealing, violence, and lying on a weekly basis, and might have no morals of their own, but everybody getting an NFL paycheck knows they can't use PED's.

Cushing started his career for us being banned for PED's. After that, I never trusted he didn't do them again. I knew once a cheat always a cheat.
Am I furious my instincts were right? Absolutely! But, I certainly don't agree that he was an utterly worthless piece of white surburban **** as you say. He did a lot of good things for people outside football, especially for the military and their families. I don't respect him for his integrity and morals when it comes to cheating to get an edge, but I do appreciate him doing some good things for others. That's a lot more than some jerks in football do. Some are just nasty people both on and off the field.

 

You must really suck if you have to cheat in an unskilled, unathletic, no brains "sport" like eggball. Feel sorry for the delusionals who keep watching this
