Sure - and after he left after just 2 years (when the lack of scholarships really becomes a big deal due to the lack of Juniors and Seniors), they were just as good and quickly became better.

What offensive records do you think they set while he was OC? They scored more points in the season before whne he was QB coach. And a bunch more the year he left. And a whole lot more several years earlier.

    Sabotage by who?

Look at our starting OTs. If there was any sabotage, that was it. An UDFA and a guy who had the same back surgery Watt had just 8 months ago. And their backup, swing OT was the worst RT in the league in 2016.

Xavier Sua Filo might be the worst draft pick in Texans history. Just waive the guy.

I never give into mob mentality. Texans fans can be pretty bad about that. Even my most level headed friends with multiple college degrees, when it comes to the Texans they lose their rationality real quick. Good hard working players still get held in contempt as though they somehow brought the floods

I think I'm over Bill O'Brien anyway. I've seen enough. This QB situation has been mismanaged under him. Expediting Watson into service might be what fans like, but actually still wasnt handled right. Watson should have been getting 1st team reps all preseason if Savage was on this short a leash. (And the preseason game Watson got all the time they were SHUT OUT). Rick Smith isnt doing him any favors either not adding O-line help, but thats part on B'OB too.

Now if Watson ends up "Dak'ing" it up, thats some forgiveness. But Watson's line and weapons on O is the OPPOSITE of what Dak worked with. All that already after B'OB made himself the offensive coordinator, putting it all on himself.

If we had fired O'Brien last year maybe we'd still have our first and second round picks next year.

dont buy a Watson jersey yet. Bob may end his career and have him under mental depression after he yanks him out every other game.

If you felt that another coach could've gotten more out of Brock than maybe you're right but the guy is happy to be a water boy at this point. The lost picks falls just as much on Rick and McNair (if he made the call on Brock).

Agreed it falls on Rick and McNair too.

They could have just cut Brock. I think a new smart coach would not have given up picks that easily.

Falls on Rick because I'm convinced (tons of info out there if you investigate it) he's Elway, Kubes, and the Broncos b****. I know it was his idea to go after Brock just because Elway, Kubes, and the Broncos drafted him, showed interest, and made a big offer. That convinced him to make is "genius" offer and "steal" him from the Broncos, not his actual scouting and research. That facking idiot.

If Rick would have been fired with Kubes for a full regime change, we don't waste our heavily invested defense's prime like we have and are still doing now.

Not if they wanted to make a run at Romo, which was thought to be the idea at the time.

They didn't even meet with him for goodness sake. It's just ridiculous to see how far back our personnel issues go and McNair still not be able to hold Rick accountable.

Yeah, but did we? Did Romo have any interest? That is a risky move if we didn't have some sort of interest from Romo.

Rick is the b**** of whatever team he's working for. He just signs off on what the owner and coach want.

    Romo = Chris Bosh

Only reason Romo would of considered the Texans. Close to home in Dallas, money, gets to bang JJ Watts girl.
