The Texans' current QB situation cost them next year's 1st and 2nd round picks because they didn't want to part with a 5th, 6th or 7th round pick to land Tony Romo.

When the night air gets cold, curl up to that warm thought and sleep comfortably...............

Romo would probably be out for the season already.

We could be watching the Browns picking #1 thanks to us.

They will end up with Oliver if he becomes draft eligible. Myles Garrett, Oliver, and a bunch of rising stars, with a whole lot of draft picks to build them up.

Just a Friendly Reminder.........your psychiatrist can listen to your complaints and sorrows after every Texans game, but they won't go away as long as Rick runs the payroll and Bill runs the playbook.

Tony Romo might literally die if he had to play behind the current O line. Hell he couldn't stay healthy behind the best O line in the league. Wasting picks on trading for him would have been absolutely the dumbest thing possible.

Could have used the top pick to sign an offensive lineman and spent some money to bring Brown back.

Watson move wasn't for this year. Don't think it was an either/or situation, assuming the Texans even had interest in Romo.

Romo wanted to retire. If he didn't, he would be out there . he never had that drive . It's why they never won more than 1 playoff game.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda's... go all the way back to the Clowney draft if you wanna play that game.

There's really no point because you needed to beef up the offensive line which could have been addressed this past offseason but wasn't. Instead we minuses one of the most important blockers on the team... which no one knows how much is actually left in that 1987 Chevy Silverado.

This really needs to be printed out in crayon so folks like Hey Now can comprehend reality.

Yep. Use #25 on OL and then, given smaller window with Romo, show greater urgency with Brown.

They also should have absolutely eaten Osweiler's contract. I agreed with the move then - but they didn't use the money and that second pick is going to have tremendous value. That Osweiler deal..... man.........

This. We don't know what the Cowboys were asking in return or whether Romo was even open to a trade.

What about his contract? Wasnt it guaranteed? Im pretty sure that was a big hangup for taking him on without him being cut.

    Wrong.

Romo wasn't traded or cut because he was deciding whether to retire. Have you read any of his interviews? It turned out that the Cowboys were doing him a favor by not cutting him or trading him until he decided. He was looking at teams and comparing that to retirement and ultimately chose retirement.

lol @ wanting to sign or trade for Romo. Maybe Yao Ming can come out of retirement and play quarterback, and maybe we can sign Yu Darvish at tight end.

There's no saying Romo wouldn't have retired anyway, we wouldn't have had the cap for him if we kept Brock, and Romo would have been forced to retire after the first game because of the trash line.

Let's move on to the next tired, worn out narrative. I'm sure there are plenty more dead horses to beat.

The truth, with that line he would have had no chance.
