Many pundits (BSPN) are saying Kap should be starting for Texans, Colts, Bengals,etc...

Would he have been a better option than Savage and Watson?

Whether he would be is insignificant because you and I have a better chance to play QB for Bob McNair than Kaepernick does.

Part of me wishes Savage come up with a baseball-like mysterious injury that would force us to sign Kaep & give him a shot while Watson has time to learn. If anything, it would make this season interesting instead of the dumpster fire it looks like now. Yall are right through, no way uncle Bob signs him

Not sure. He might be better as the head coach than Bob O'Brien, though.

Yep, at minimum he's a pretty good running threat and he can throw balls more accurately than Watson can at the moment. He will only be able to make 1 read or so but let's be real, with our offensive line do our QBs have the time to make more than 1 read? Unlikely.

At this point our best QB is whoever can run the fastest.

Dumbest play ever, mainly because as soon as JJ Watt entered the game you knew he wasn't going to be a decoy and that he was getting the ball. With that formation there was zero doubt that JJ was going to run.

O'briens offensive scheme is so advance, I don't even think a prime Joe Montana could run it, let alone Kap.
What we need are some decoders to break O'briens code.

This is BS. The broncos had the most sacks in the NFL. The next year manning came in and with basically the same cast they had the fewest. A good QB can make up for a bad O-Line. I am sure brady would do fine with us.

No he didn't. He was going to cut and get 0 so he opted out so he could at least maybe sign with someone.
