He left because the Lakers did not offer him a contract. Why?

Hey, he is still in the NBA while drafted players like Dmo are on their way out.

I'd rather have DMo than Jerry. But neither seems better.

Both are not exceptionally good players for the NBA of today. But I would say Jerry did have more impactful games with New York than Dmo ever has.

And considering that Jerry was undrafted (I am not even counting in that he was among a handful Asian Americans that made this league) he did decent enough.

Hey, yeah, he declined. Well, others did too.

You dun see a whole lot of other Asian Americans play in the NBA do you?

Rafer Alston actually knew what being a PG means. He took care of the ball and set the team offense. He was under control and did not make boneheaded decisions. If his shooting wasn't erratic, he would have been really good.

Airemy on the other hand is a selfish bonehead that thinks he is much better than he is and is always trying for the hero ball. Weak dribble, bad decision making, inconsistency, mental midgetness, just some of his glaring weaknesses why he is playing for the worst team in the league now.

Do you think JVG would hand over his team offense to Airemy like he did with Rafer lol??

Airemy hero ball and Gundy! Haha...

Airemy Lin would have been in Gundy's doghouse just like Vaisillis was.

Airemy sucks. There is no other way to put it. And no one except a LOF like yoeddy would pick Airemy over Rafer to run the point.

Rafer wasn't great but Airemy just plain sucks.

What does Asian have to do with this? Who cares. He sucks and that's all that matters. He ruined a playoff run for us so Uncle Les told Morey to send him packing regardless of the cost. Two picks later and we were able to void ourselves of his piss poor quality. He sucked for us, he sucked for everyone except those 14 games for the Knicks. He was awesome for 14 games. Can't take that away from him, but his inconsistency is awful. His boneheaded plays are not forgivable. McHale was dumb to play the guy as much as he did.

I don't think race has anything to do with airballs

    Yao didn't jack up airballs

He declined? Kevin McHale thinks he's become a much better player than when he was with the Rockets. The Hornets fell apart with out him...so did the Nets, for that matter when he was out with injury.

    https://clutchpoints.com/kevin-mchale-praise-jeremy-lin/

“He’s a better shooter, a better defender. He’s more disciplined, a better decision-maker. He’s a better shooter, which sets up his ability to drive more. All those things he got better in. He’s much better in a lot of different ways.”

I think the biggest tradegy of Lin was we let Dragic walk so we can sign him lol. Imagine Dragic, Harden, Dwight and Parsons (as opposed to Portions) with Bev as 6th man. I think that tean would've been really good offensively and defensively

    Don't forget Livingston as well.

We gave Airemy the scrub a huge contract when we had several better options.

And how does Airemy reward Morey? By killing Rockets in the playoffs against Blazers by trying to be a hero

    Airemy Lin keeps sucking.

Seriously, he should try something else because he sucks at basketball.

And let's not forget, this "Christian" didn't give a penny of this $60 millions plus lifetime earning to the city of Houston during our hours of need.

James gave $1 million. Curry himself donated over $100k. The city of Houston gave this dude $25 millions and we didn't get any support from him. That ain't Christian like, y'all.

No wonder ESPN left him off the TOP 100 list

I am not going to say anything about this event specifically but overall most of Airemy's "Christian" work involves hyping himself up through social media, rounding up his followers. and using Bible quotes in a passive aggressive manner against his "wrong doers".

It's a marketing ploy that his knucklehead followers are more than eager to eat up.

A scrub like Airemy has to do all this to stay relevant.

His debut vs the thunder in the playoffs was a disaster
And obviously Portland was the last straw

Morey saw that. Don't need to be a statistical genius to see Lin needing to go

Yup. Airemy sealed his fate on the team after that disastrous showing against Thunder and that deer in the headlight look.

He was on trading block since.

Him with those bonehead plays in the Blazers series was the one that shattered the camel's back.

It was such a relief amongst Rocket fans when this scrub was finally dumped. We were all glad to get rid of a liability on the basketball court.

I'm still a bit confused as to why an LOF would keep posting on these forums, tbh. Bitterness can lead to long term health problems as has been proven in the medical community. It's a form of serious depression and people who have it should seek medical help for it.

McHale was fired for having opinions like this. I like Mike D'Antoni. He gets guys to be their best, he even made Jerry a legend. MDmA should get credit for Linsanity, not Jerry.

Anyone have an opinion on why Jerry was left off the TOP 100 list? Maybe we could make a nice list.
