Bye old man. You did some great things for Houston as a city, made sure the team always stayed relevant in recent years, backed up your team a couple of times, honored the legends, but I can never forget you claiming those 2 titles and putting your face everywhere especially without giving credit to the GM and former owner. Our lower bowl situation and hideous jersey choices since you've been the owner will hopefully be of the past. Maybe it had to get worse for it to get better, so I'll thank you for that too. All in all, I'm excited about the new owner and won't miss you.
Only owner I've ever known. He's been a good owner, always wanting to compete for titles, not just compete, and I respect the hell out of that. Not perfect, we've had crap jerseys for 20 years and we can't seem to fill the lower bowl, but I would say he's been in the top 1/3 of NBA owners over his tenure. We can do a little better, but we could also do a hell of a lot worse than Les.
