    Better hit on Watson, because that's QB money that Hopkins is taking in. Or at least formerly QB money.

    Rick is an intelligent guy handling it like this. Pure chess move albeit it was going to happen Duane situation or not.

    Duane should get the message about getting his butt back to the team and waiting until next year like your star wide out.

    Good for Deandre. Happy to see our players get rewarded. and I LOVE seeing our FO put faith in players, especially after down seasons. That type of message is heard through the locker room. Players see that they will get rewarded. Players see that not *everything* will be held against them. Despite our inability to find a QB, and despite a few missed hindsight calls, our organization is sound. People love to hate on Rick and co. (myself included), but we have quite a roster. Now, its time to produce.

    Sidenote: Hasn't the line looked good without Duane? Or does preseason not matter that much...

    I think the loss of 2 firsts and a 2nd round pick would be even more painful, should Watson not work out. Man we are so boned if so.
