Good. I'm not a fan of all those stadium deals. All those rosy economic projections in order to justify the taxpayer spending rarely ever becomes reality.
Not to mention it's hard to justify these arena deals considering what these franchises are worth. If teams are reaching values of 2 billion dollars, then 140 million on renovations is like spending 14 thousand dollars on renovations for your 200 thousand dollar business. It really shouldn't be that big of a burden.
could be a lot of sellers on the market soon. globally, for whatever reason the trend was overpaying for broadcast rights which a lot of the major sports and competitions benefited from. now everything has calmed down and broadcasters have their internet platforms established and understood... the next lot of broadcast deals are expected to decrease sharply.
