I wonder how Bud Selig is going to manage to move the Rangers series to Arlington? Their defense totally let them down. It's been quite a while since they've had all 3 phases clicking at the same time.
A hurricane is exactly what this team and or fans needed to bring it back together. The universe is aligning. At exactly the right time
I wonder. Are the guys in ththe club house having fun anymore? You know the pulling off of someone else's batting helmet after an HR or water in the face? Just does not look like they are having fun now. That can be huge psychologically
??? The Dodgers are 1-9 in their last 10, and still have a 9 game lead for the best record in the NL with 25 games to play. We're playing better baseball, and seem to have the guys getting healthy at the right time. Still, we've got a 3 game edge on the Indians, who are on a white hot 12 game win streak. Cleveland actually leads us in run differential right now, and isn't too far behind the Dodgers.
All good things come to an end... especially in a long baseball season. All those fans panicked about the Astros' August, framed by the Dodgers seemingly endless run of dominance... well, thereya go - nothing lasts forever. No team is perfect; no team is above rough stretches. And now, it seems, no team punches a World Series ticket in August. Who knew?!?!? The Astros were the best team in baseball for nearly four months; there was zero chance a bad month - marked by significant injuries - was going to invalidate it.
