Picks can be traded again with no wait.

You aren't really thinking CLE would waste that pick on Melo, are you?

Now, a rumor of Love, IT and that pick to get Porzingis + Melo might help someone get some followers on their twitter feed. That will be a Fake News tweet with sauces in 3 ... 2 ...

fwiw: IT can be traded immediately again in a large package if you break it into smaller deals and he's moved in a 1 for 1 piece, or 1 for cash/pick piece of the larger package.

lol they're easily still the 2nd best team and depending on how clev meshes boston is right up there as the #1 team in the east. they're easily the best team in the east if lebron leaves

They were the No 1 seed last year. Who else in the east looks strong besides Cleveland? Milwaukee?

True dat. I just feel that they made the most of a effed up situation by obtaining a one-year (at worst) all-NBA rental plus an almost certain top 5 pick. Now what would you have done from Cleveland's perspective? Gone into the season with an awkward and divided team? What's your perfect scenario for them?

I'm just curious as to what they'll do with the pick. If they truly believe Lebron is leaving then they might hold on to the pick. But if they think they have one more run in them then I wonder where they will package it to.

I was in vegas this past weekend and the celtics were off the books on all bets for some reason. I guess vegas knew something...

    Thomas>Kyrie.

    Cavs dominated this trade.

Ainge is like that dude you play poker with that doesn't bet all night, then goes all in with a pair in his hand

When I was at peak Curry hatred, I would avoid bright skinned children.

Kyrie is clearly better. But Cavs easily won this trade

Don't get this for the Celtics- they should be trying to beat the Cavs, not giving up more talent- unless Cavs know something we don't about Lebron

Maybe this how the rest of the league felt about the Paul trade with us but Bradley, Thomas, Crowder and Nets pick > Irving and Hayward

I did a double take because it was so logical that I thought it had to be fake.
