I'd be willing to take the choke job and miss the playoffs completely if it meant getting a real manager.

 

If we're waiting for Correa to get back to turn this around we are in deep ****. The AL lead would be long shot. The division lead looks big but we're currently in worst team in baseball mode. I'm not that concerned about that lead, but it'd be nice to mix in a win sometime soon.

This is going to have to be through the offense. They look really bad right now but at least they have a track record of success to build off.

I know it's a natural tendency to blame everything on a coach when things go wrong in sports but c'mon. The injuries and roster moves are out of hinch's control. He's proven to be an effective manager who has grown with this team.

I'm just looking for anything to get things going again. Los gives off positive vibes and well he's damn good.

 

His ability so far to, you know, catch the damn ball leaves something to be desired.

 

I think a big part of the downturn is the astros have just been facing better pitching overall than the pitching we saw before the break. granted, some of it is we just seem lost at the plate right now. but, they're not getting a lot of bad pitches like they were.

 

I'm actually quite surprised the Astros was a slight favorite on the road according to Vegas odds

a big part of the downturn is they're decimated by injury. And they did NOTHING to address it. Nothing at all. They knew it.

But they LITERALLY sold shirts at MMP that said PROCESS with their logo on it. While they were trying to lose and still selling tickets to the public in a ballpark funded by taxpayers.

 

I don't think there was a pitcher on the white sox with an ERA under 4.

 

I understand that but that doesn't mean they always pitch bad every outing. they are amped up because they are facing the best team record-wise in the AL. we do have a target on our backs. teams want to prove they can play with us.
