Simple question. I believe James Harden is a great player nearing his very peak. But I'd still rank him "only" 5th entering 2018 because of his playoff shortcomings. How does Clutchfans feel about The Beard as he enters an incredibly important season in his career? Also, where's CP3 on that list?

    LeBron
    Curry
    Durant

    Kawhi
    Harden
    Westbrook

    Davis
    CP3
    Giannis
    Towns

    Third or fourth

    Lebron
    Durant
    Harden/Leonard

Never have thought Curry was a better overall player than Harden.

Its really hard to place him.

He is not the best, he is not out of the top 5.

He can outplay any of the others on the list on any given night.

He can also choke badly and be really ineffective.

After game 6 v. San Antonio, he's gotta earn it to be top 10 IMO.

just curious for those who rank curry and/or durant above harden,

after the 2016 playoffs when KD's OKC lost to Curry's GSW after blowing a 3 to 1 lead and when Curry's GSW lost to Lebron's Cavs

how did you guys rank Curry and KD?

I think Lebron is still the best player in the league without question, but after him i'd say it's very subjective...personally i'd put a group of Durant, Harden and Leonard after Lebron, i'm not even sure who i would pick between them, or at least it would be very hard for me...after them, a tier below for me, it's Curry and Westbrook.

after single handidly carryying the rockets to 3rd best team in 82 games behind 2 multi-starred teams and ahead of a couple more multi-starred teams?

then after beating the team with the MVP in the first round?

then going to 6 games against a vastly superior opponent?

6th. Probably 2nd best after Bron in the regular season, but his weaknesses are magnified in the playoffs.

    Bron
    KD
    Steph
    Kawhi
    Russ
    Harden

if harden & lebron traded places last year,

would cavs with harden, irving, and love had been 2nd seed or better in the east?

would the rockets with just lebron be 3rd seed or better overall?

you mean a team with only 1 star's weakness are magnified in the playoffs?

Would you trade harden for LeBron straight up? Contract and salary aside. For one year.

More likely, yes, but still need to see it to believe it. He needs a go to shot other than his step back. It's not as reliable as the other top 5's go to shot, in my opinion. And FT's are obviously not as reliable in the playoffs. He's still a top 3 play maker in the league though.
