Hopefully the 2 other jerseys, statement and city edition are better. I'm hoping for the black one and then some type of retro one.
WELL HELLO! Wow, this is the first true design example I have seen that encapsulates the "R" scheme along with the old colors. Plus a black alternate. This is fantastic!
Since every team has 4 Nike uniforms Icon and Association are Red and White and I hope the player inspired and community inspired are the red and yellow and black checker board jerseys. Those were the best jerseys we've had. The Red and Yellow one we used 2 years ago and the all black Houston one. @Tadbrown @LessAlexander or whoever our new owner is
Honestly, they looks better than the Adidas versions. Small improvements are still better than none. I like the solid collar and shoulder contours, removal of the elongated "V" spirals, and the addition of the chevrons. Not the most imaginative jerseys, but still a step in the right direction. There is only so much Nike can do with the Chinese takeout box template. Next up the player favorite black jersey and possibly a ketchup & mustard community edition.
The shorts still look hideous, but I'm not sure more chevrons would have been the answer. The ones in that Harden pic look like someone cutoff the V spirals at the halfway point and called it a day. Also, I agree the solid edge contour should have be done on the shorts as well. Oh well, let's hope new ownership can sort this mess soon.

There won't be sleeved jerseys any more... Does that mean the Rockets won't wear gray jersey and "Clutch City" jersey next season? How many jerseys will the Rockets have for next season? Red, White, and Black?
id bet that were all going to hate what they do with the "community" jerseys i bet theyre not going to be houston related at all
Average minds should stop having opinions on things beyond them. Leave it to designers to create. You just sit back and watch. The uniforms in your picture show a logo that looks like it was a font stolen from ClipArt in Windows 95 -- awful. As for the time they decided to actually put a rocket on the court and jersey, that was about as wise as the Vancouver Grizzlies. Stop having opinions unless you're smart.
yeah the people on this thread may not be designers but theyre the ones being asked to shell out dollars for these jerseys "stop having opinions unless youre smart" would be the dumbest perspective for the rockets designers to take they should first and foremost care about the opinions of the merch buyers
