Pretty sure that's just a general comment. Just like all these famous people's "enlightenment" brought on tweets or instagram pics.
I'm going to guess that it was something that just happened to him personally and so he is sub-tweeting.
And they shouldn't spend for that reason alone. There is no other reason to spend money aside from maybe picking up another tackle like Brandon Albert if he can get back into the NFL with his contract up in the air.
I'm sure this has been addressed plenty of times, and I'm obviously super late to the party... but I just want to go on record saying I think it was a mistake to not re-sign Bouye. We really should have cut Joseph to free up cap space for him. Essentially we chose a 33 year old aging corner over a 25 year old with tremendous potential.
It's still risky. The guy came into last season as a backup and only got playing time due to people in front of him getting injured. For all we know, it was a flash in the pan. They saw him day in and day out and they didn't think he was worth ponying up the cash for....who knows?
Yeah I would rather pay Bouye than Joseph any day of the week. He's been great for us, but his time as a premier corner is over with.
Is that really the way the team should be making decisions? "Well if it doesn't turn out well then we'll look bad...better keep the 9-7 status quo." Oh wait. I'm stupid. We are after all taking about the Texans. Carry on.
Im impressed with watson. He knows where the receivers are going to be, can see the entire field.. Now can he get the ball past 40 yards accurately? That's still tbd. He's dangerous on rollouts. 2/2 on designed ones. Too bad we still like doing the whole shotgun from our own 7 yard line thing.
He is already light years better than Nicolas Cage. Its about his poise and decisive decisions, which none you can find in our current starting QB.
