Pretty good overall, but a little too much Sandler. Gave me a good laugh. Surprised it didn't get better ratings on IMDB and rotten tomatoes.

It was okay, but the plot was pretty slow. They took too long to get to the point, but it's a good time waster nonetheless.

Just saw this last week... I really don't get the hype. Nolan really **** the bed on this one. Bale way overplayed the whole deep voice thing... that was weird. Not to mention Rachel suddenly became Maggie Gyllenhaal...? Talk about zero to hero jeezzz... And that dude that played the Joker? Was that a joke? WTF, he was terrible... hopefully he didn't get anymore acting jobs after that dud of a performance....

Aw, can't hear or see you, troll. Damned ignore function in full effect. Enjoy spamming an otherwise great site until ban-hammer.

Sicario 7/10: Saw it on recommendation of the thread as there were several posts regarding this one. I enjoyed it, probably wouldn't ever watch it again though. Would have liked to have seen more of the background instead of exposition.

Train to Busan 7/10: Ditto on recommendation and likely not watching it again. I hadn't seen a Korean film before and having to follow by subtitles wasn't a hassle, I like the Asian version of zombies with the mannerisms.

I thought Emily blunt, Daniel Kaluuya, and Benicio del Toro were fantastic. I loved that movie. Brolin was brolin, never bad, never great. But he's entertaining to say the least. That movie is worth a watch.

If Colossal was marketed in the right way I think you would have liked it more. I thought it was very good.

watched the Ron Howard Beatles documentary on Hulu the other night with my wife. Excellent film, 9/10 easily. She loved it, wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as she did.

I am hearing valerian is Jupiter Ascending Part 2
    The actors had no chemistry

I have not seen it yet but those are the reviews I am hearing

I honestly did not like the leads from the beginning . . .
not that they are bad but i didn't know one and the other one was a better bad guy

I don't think so, it would've probably saved me and others from actually being interested in it. Now there was some mystery to it, because I really didn't know what to expect. Top 10 worst films.

    Get Out

Good movie. Didn't quite live up to all the hype that came my way, but it was still good. Had me re-thinking everything that had happened once it ended, which is good.

    Would recommend.

New Jack City: man, this movie did not age well (or it was just never any good to begin with). Bad acting, bad writing, pretty comical in places.

    The Box: 6/10

I don't know what the f happened. And I don't know that I will ever know exactly WTF happened. Haven't been this confused since the octopus' random appearance in prometheus. But I was compelled to watch to the end. And that is saying something at least.

    Eddie the Eagle: 6/10

Better than I thought when I still believed the movie was based on a true story, only to find out that 5% of it is true from Eddie the Eagle himself, so that dialed it way down for me to a six. I did like the views from ski jump though. And it was funny to see the Swedish jump team root for him at the end after laughing at him and watching almost die training in Germany.
