    Sorry but truth hurts.

Yes I know Westbrook can go heroball too much but with the right coaching, he can definitely improve in that regard. I've seen it in other players.

OTOH, you can't really coach drive, heart and effort. If a player just doesn't have that drive and desire, no amount of coaching can change it.

How many times have we seen Harden check out of games? Quite a few. Westbrook OTOH always fights to the last.

Why must harden and westbrook be compared to each other? Both are at home

There is no doubt Westbrook plays much harder - and gives a lot more effort.

    No one has his motor.

They are similar players though, both unique and both prone to try to do too much in crucial situations - when will they learn to trust their teamates in crunch time?

That is when they will rise even further.

I'm hoping CP3 can keep Harden in check and make sure he gives full effort in every game, especially elimination games at home against a team without their best player.

Well, Harden wins the IQ battle. And I would bet he wins the test by the triple?!

"A team without their best player" doesn't exclude the statement "a team without two of their three best players." The two statements aren't mutually exclusive. You need to study harder for the LSAT! Your logic needs work. :(

By the way, that makes Harden quitting even worse!!

Says a lot about someone that sits at home on Sunday night unearthing threads so he can troll on. That professional golf gig sure opens up a lot of time to sit on the computer.

If you're trying to make a point, you might as well go all in. Stinky Mavs boy.

Your team, rotten Mavs won't even make the playoffs and yet you are here trolling the Rockets and Harden. Still enjoying that Chandler Portions contract that killed the Mavs?

Agree that Rus has the better motor, but he also has the much lower Bball IQ.
Harden's IQ is up there with Lebron's, he just doesn't have the physical gifts of LBJ.

One thing that rings true is that you can't teach hart or hustle. That is worrying for someone like Harden, however he has proven to be miles ahead of T-Mac, who also has the same issues of lacking a killer instinct.

I hate stupid players, so I'd take harden all day every day. He has proven to turn a mediocre team to a good team. His first year in HOU, and his 2 MVP runner up seasons prove how good he really is compared to Westbrook who had a historic season and still only got to 6th seed.

James is the more talented of the two and has the BBIQ. When he's healthy, he makes it look easy...and is capable of taking his team to much greater heights.
