The team signed an extra big guy (Black) and wing (Mamba a Moute) to its core 8. Still want to add a point guard (according to D'Antoni's recent interview). Where do we go for this? NG Bro Isaiah Taylor? Mini Jack Haley Bobby Jackson?

The name on the free agent market are not very inspiring-- though having Deron Williams playing a subordinate role to his old "rival" CP would be kind of interesting.

Is there a Patrick Beverley hanging out somewhere in Europe looking to return to the civilized hoops world?

Jason Terry? Good locker room leader and has great relationship w/ Harden.

    Deron Williams
    Trey Burke

Those are the only free agents I would offer a contract to right now. Burke is restricted, so that's probably not going to happen.

I think we have a decent shot at Deron. I've always thought Morey's "Team USA members" comment referred to more than just Melo.

Otherwise I would wait. See if Wade or someone else gets bought out. Maybe a small trade...someone mentioned Dinwiddie...good idea!

What happen to Deron Williams? There is a period of time where people are legitimately comparing who is the better player between him and CP3. And he is not that old. Injuries?

Used to be a time when the first name you would have thought of was Ramon Sessions. Good times.

Spencer Dinwiddie (BRK) or Jerian Grant (CHI)... both cheap... can shoot the 3... tall and long (TWSS)... can defend 3 positions...IIRC Dinwiddie is a better P-N-R passer than Grant

Brooklyn gotta a gang of PGs as does CHI... both should be cheap... possibly even for just rights to Llull (never play ball in NBA)

I was going to say Bobby Brown but someone beat me to it. I think we could have success signing DMO or Corey Brewer @ point.

    No love for Tyler Anus?

We might not need another point guard. D'antoni said that one of CP3 or Harden will be on the floor at all times so we'll always have a PG. EGo is our designated shooter off the bench. Go for Tony Allen. Him, Tucker, and Mbah a Moute would just be hell on defense for the bench unit. Memphis really missed him in their series against the Spurs.

Taylor deserves everything over brainless Tyler Anus.

Deron was always a defensive sieve. The moment he no longer had a prime PnR Boozer, his offensive game waned. He got slower as he aged, and that turned a defensive liability into a laughing stock, along with his shaky shot.
