I hear you but I wouldn't worry. If they make the melo trade they will have three hall of fame level offensive players to stagger with various lineups. Even aside from Gordon they should be able to get good production.

Nice signing. Could be good as a small ball 4 off the bench. Solid depth. I could see a 9 rotation of:

Paul/Gordon
Harden/Gordon
Ariza/Tucker
Anderson (or Melo lol)/Moute
Capela/Nene

Troy is gone

 

I like Troy as much as anyone, but I don't see many minutes here. And he does play with a chip on his shoulder as though he is a superstar and not a super role player. His defense and understanding of team concepts is too untested to be put in many battles. He's got a lot of growing still to do. I hope everything works out for him, and I wouldn't mind him on our team. But if we move on (and we may have just done that), I get that too.

 

Getting as many switch-everything forwards that can hit three's is key to beating the Warriors. We have legit options for that role with Tucker and Mbah off the bench, not to mention Trev starting. Zero downside move. I'm pumped.

 

Expect him to be signed sooner than later
