How will James Harden react the first time Chris Paul yells at him?

    I think that the biggest impact that Chris Paul will have on the team is in practice habits. By all accounts Chris Paul is an amazing teacher and he is extraordinarily fundamentally sound - one reason blogger hipsters wanted so bad to link him with Popovich. Modern basketball is heavily skill based and much less power based, the only way to develop these skills is by practice, but not only practice, practicing correctly, diligently, and strategically.





    This is why guards often take longer to blossom into what they will eventually become than wings or post players; they have to learn how to practice the correct way. This is why I believe Eric had such a good year last season, he linked up with James and was able to see how he practiced and incorporate the same elements into his own practice. This is also why I believe role players shoot much better on GS than they do when they were on other teams.

    Having Chris Paul here will bring new elements into how our guards practice and I believe that it will be easily apparent when they take the floor to start the season.

    Everybody is gonna say it will be fine but I'm not sure. I've said from jump I'm way more worried about the personality fit than the basketball fit.

    I love beard but him and Paul are built different....

    The thing I hate about this Chris Paul narrative about him being such a competitor and a leader is what has he accomplished? James probably would just say hey remember when you blew a 3-1 lead?

    Agree 100%... that's exactly what harden needs. That game 6 doesn't happen if Paul is there

    Hmm, I can see it now. The first time Paul and Harden have a visible exchange of any kind on the court, Clutchfans will have a Chris Paul camp and a James Harden camp, and the two factions will war through tons of threads and rampant speculation.
