What's this like? One of few colognes I haven't heard of, but from a quick search it was made by Alberto Morillas, who made AdG. Seems interesting... where do you buy it? Wonder if there's anywhere to sample it in store...
it's widely available in europe, but i got it at an italian perfume store chain called limoni in torino last summer. scent is fresh, citrusy, with some green wood and a bit of cardamom -- good for summer and doesn't give me allergies. not very longlasting, however
Haha yeah I have Ultra Zest, Pure Malt and Pure Havane. Thinking of picking up Pure Tonka but I already own Rochas Man and I've heard they are similar. I should try it out
I haven't picked up Tonka either, or the newer Kryptomint. Tonka was nice when I tried it, but haven't felt the need to buy a bottle yet. Still need to try Kryptomint at some point. I have the ones you mentioned, plus Pure Coffee, Pure Wood, Pure Energy, and a decant of Pure Chili. Like all of them, especially Pure Coffee, but Pure Energy is kinda weird... not to mention the face of that campaign was girlfriend-murdering bladerunner Oscar Pistorius.
lol I haven't tried Pure Wood, Energy, Chili or Coffee. I did try Kryptomint on a tester strip it basically smells like a York peppermint patty well the opening at least. Not sure if I will pick it up.
How much are people paying for Creed, isn't that like $200 a bottle? Is there a discount perfume site that sells legit fragrances for cheap?
Depends on the Creed and the size of the bottle. Some cost more than that (retail price). You can buy discounted perfumes at places like FragranceNet.com and many other similar sites that run 20-30% off sales or have cheaper everyday prices. I wouldn't trust a lot of the stuff on eBay - tons of fakes on there. I got a 4oz bottle of Aventus on MaxAroma for something like $265 that retails for $450 or so on sites like Creed's and Nordstroms, I think. I've bought a 4oz bottle of Creed's Silver Mountain Water on FragranceNet for $125 (but that was about 5 years ago) that retails for $395-$425. You can get it on MaxAroma for $150-$160 with their current coupon. The other way you can get colognes cheaper is if you don't care about owning the actual bottle and want a smaller amount because you won't be using it that often -- buy a decant from places like The Perfumed Court (http://theperfumedcourt.com/) or Surrender to Chance (https://surrendertochance.com/).
I buy the $8.95 "smell-alikes" from Walmart. Seriously... Some of them do smell like grain alcohol mixed with stale potpourri, but there are a couple that are damn good. I can't drop a bill on cologne...
