Whoops! I couldn't understand why they'd mess with the great chemistry they have, and they didn't. Close to a story, Carl!

I believe I already saw this posted somewhere?

But I'm sad it didn't happen. I would love for Klay to be exposed on a mediocre Eastern team.

They have Klay locked up for 3 more years while PG is unrestricted next summer.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

    No brainer.

I agree. Unless P George agreed to resign, then I'd consider it. But yah, you've won two with Klay and you've got KD who is a better P George at the 3. Smart move on GSW part, unfortunately.

With the game GSW employs, Klay is way lot better than PG but he'll be a good replacement for IGGY.

It was in one of the many Melo threads that the garm has been ravaged by recently.

Smart move on their part, they'll be in tax hell for the next 5 years but keep their core of whores together.

From the point of view of straight up talent, George is a better all around player than Thompson. But George's "hellbent" desire to play for the Lakers scares off a lot of teams. Of all the teams in the league, Golden State has the least need for gambling at this point.

Paul George is a diva that couldn't even hit rim on the game-winning shot in his Gatorade commercial. Klay Thompson drinks Coors Light in the locker room after the game while getting interviewed. Most low-maintenance player in the league. Easy game.

Its about fit and having possibly the most dominant team assembled. Harden is better than Klay, but even then not worth the trade if they got hit up about it. I'm sure they'd be a lot more conflicted then but still would say no.

So the Pacers shot for Klay Thompson and settled for Oladipo? LOL

Even if Paul George agreed to resign I'd still get Klay. Klay is an elite spot up shooter, definitely much better than George. George is better as the alpha or beta scorer, it's just wasting his talent if he is the one running around the 3 pt line trying to get open.

Lol Offer them Harden and see how fast they agree.Harden is a top 4 or at worst top 6 player and you make it work with someone like him. The Warriors would pull that trade before You're head spins.

As they are constructed now. Doubt it. Like it was mentioned before it's about fit not just who they are as individual players.

They don't care if he's a higher ranked player. They have the most dangerous off the ball shooting the league has ever seen, and Klay is a big part of that...as well as a great defender to mask Curry's lack of D. They would say no, as others have alluded. Its rings and finals appearances, not "we have x number of top 10 players"
