Firstly, sorry cause It's not Melo thread I didn't see someone post that but he spoke to NBA TV after Suns game, and said "I can't wait to play with CP3 and James." There was some rumors about Memphis wants him back (or this one was just a fan-comment, idk; anyway he's unrestricted FA) So now before the Melo CP3/Taylor(we MUST keep him after this 3 SL games.)/Bobby Harden/Gordon Ariza/Tucker/Troy Ryan/Zhou Capela/Nene/Onuaku
He has been talking like he is a part of the Rockets since game 1 of the summer league. And reporters are talking to him like he is going to be a part of this Rockets team. Technocally he already is...for the summer. I don't think it means anything.
This isn't really a guarantee that he will resign. Doesn't say anything about the Rockets being interested, nor does it say he'd be interested financially in what we might offer, he's just saying wouldn't mind playing on the Rockets this upcoming season. Even then, what is he supposed to say in a interview as a current member of the Rockets summer league team? Of course he's going to say he'd love to be here and is excited about the team he's currently a member of. Dude can be offered a 2 year fully guaranteed vet min tomorrow by any team and all that can't wait to play with CP3 and Harden stuff goes straight out the window lol With all that being said, I personally think it's likely we bring him back, but at the same time I think the title is misleading OP.

I say we need to sign one more key veteran off the bench. I know D'Antoni likes to play that 8 men rotation but we just need more veterans.

They'll add more veterans than this. I suspect one more guard to play Lou Will's role and a backup big to replace Harrell and give them some depth at the 4/5.

did anyone notice that he has put on notable size during the off-season? this dude seems like he's going to be a mega work-a-holic. just needs to get rid of that leg kick on his jumpers. (oh and guys this is his 2nd year, he is 22 even tho he looks 32)
